Quentin Palfrey

Quentin Palfrey is Deputy General Counsel and Acting General Counsel of the U.S. Department of Commerce. Palfrey rejoined the Department in January 2021 after previously serving as deputy general counsel for strategic initiatives during the Obama-Biden administration. Palfrey also served as a senior advisor for jobs & competitiveness in the White House Office of Science & Technology Policy from 2011-2013. Until 2021, he was one of the directors of GAiA. He continues to collaborate with the GAiA team on projects in the Philippines.
